Thanksgiving in Columbia

Our New Dog!

After we moved into our new house we decided we needed a new dog to go with it. Actually, a co-worker of Laura's was giving away her 5 month old chocolate lab puppy. It seemed too good to pass up.

Ridley is not the monster we thought he might be since someone was giving him away! After some strict discipline thanks to the training books we checked out from the library, he is turning out to be a great dog!

Laura has been wishing for a lab for 26 years and she finally got her wish!


Here is Ridley. He is bigger than we expected. He weighs 56.7 pounds already. The vet said he was larger than normal...


We had to take him to Columbia for Thanksgiving! Here is Ridley and Sandy.

Moving Day!

We moved! Ryan, Madeline, and I have moved from our Kirkwood apartment to a great house in Kirkwood/Oakland. We had lots of moving helpers. Thanks Karen, Dan, Bob, Gina, Sandy, John, and Mike!

Cutting down tree in Columbia

A few weeks ago we spent the weekend in Columbia helping John cut down a huge tree in the front yard. We had to go rent a lift.

While we were in Kansas City for Amy Korschot's wedding, we all stayed at John and Kristy's. The kids had a great time together. Madeline loved Jack and Mia--Jack even read her a book and tucked her in for her nap!
